The Star Reading and Star Maths data that you see in Renaissance Analytics is for assessments taken during school network screening windows.
The school network screening windows used in Renaissance Analytics are those set up on the Renaissance software site for the Multi-Academy Trust. By default (before any changes are made), each new school year has three school network screening windows:
- Autumn: August 15 to September 30
- Spring: December 1 to January 15
- Summer: April 15 to May 31
However, administrators can make changes to these windows. When administrators change school network screening windows, they should make sure that:
- School network screening windows are still available for all school years after the changes.
- The school network screening windows cover the Star screening timeframes for all schools.
If you are missing some assessment data in Renaissance Analytics, check the following;
- Have the school network screening windows been deleted? If school network screening windows are not available for a school year, assessment data for that school year will not be brought into Renaissance Analytics. If your administrator has deleted school network screening windows, create new school network screening windows to cover the time period when screening assessments are taken. Data from those school network screening windows will be brought into Renaissance Analytics starting the next night.
- Were the assessments taken during the school network screening windows? Only assessments taken during the school network screening windows are included in the data shown in Renaissance Analytics. If custom date ranges have been set up for schools within the school network screening windows, only Star assessments that happen within the school's custom dates will be included in Renaissance Analytics.
